An historical gay bar in Rotterdam, very popular with the leather and more mature (30-50) crowd. Busiest during the weekends after midnight.
The Cosmo bar, Rotterdam's longest existing gay bar, officially opened in 1937 on the Westzeedijk in the former harbor area. It was regularly frequented by sailors visiting Rotterdam. During the second World War the bar managed to stay open and during that period it was visited by German soldiers. After the war it became more of a gay bar than before and moved to the Westplein and eventually to its definitive location on the Schiedamsesingel.
Opening Hours: Wed - Thu 9pm - 1am; Fri - Sat 9pm - 2am; Sun 9pm - 1am.
