Part of the Gaytway purpose is to connect LGBT+ travellers with people, places and experiences. Our specially curated guides introduce you to what's on offer in each destination; where to stay and rest tired weary travellers feet and rejuvinate in between exploring sights and wonders, as well as where you can eat, drink and while the days and night away.
And because we too love travelling and exploring, and know you can never know everything about somewhere, we would love to hear from you about that great place to stay, the new and hip bar or club in town or ways to meet and connect with the local LGBT+ community. That's why we make it easy for you to send us your own personal recommendations!

The views from the Rheinturm
The 240 metres high Rheinturm pierces the Düsseldorf sky and offers some pretty amazing views from the observation deck, about 168 metres up, which includes a revolving restaurant and a bar.
The once derelict industrial quarter along the Rhine has been transformed into an interesting and hip neighbourhood, with galleries, bars and clubs. There are some pretty amazing architectures here, including works by Frank Gehry.
Cruise the Rhein
Especially during the summer period it’s quite nice to choose one of the many cruises and hop-on/hop-off boats along the river by boat. See the place from a different perspective.
The Historic Marktplatz
The Market Square marks the centre of the Old Town and it’s a lovely spot to visit. The beautiful Rathaus dominates the area. During the Christmas period this is where the city’s famous festive market is held.
The Rhein Promenade
Düsseldorf’s is quite a way from the sea and yet the locals have crafted a lovely Mediterranean-style promenade along the river with shops, cafes and plenty of opportunities to enjoy a sunny day.
