A gorgeous and traditional Viennese coffee-house. This café opened its doors in 1952 in the premises of the former Café Großglockner, a typical Old Viennese coffee house with marble tables.
Today the Café Wernbacher, after a "soft" renovation is one of the few remaining old Viennese coffee houses in the city of Salzburg. In particular the original equipment from the 1950s has become the hallmark of this venue. It has always been a popular meeting place for artists, intellectuals and people of all genres, a place for interesting encounters.
Great place to have brunch at the weekend. Also don't miss the Five o'Clock Tea - when you can let a nostalgic trip into the past make and immerse yourself in the wonderful tunes of the 20's - 50's!
Opening Hours: Monday to Saturday 9am - 12am (from November and through to the end of March 11pm). Sunday 9am - 6pm.
